Nate Teti is the Head of Sustainability for Statoil for Development and Production in North America. He has responsibility for strategy and policy related to environmental and climate issues as well as social performance.

Prior to this position, Mr Teti led Statoil’s state government affairs efforts for the US onshore unit. He was also previously Deputy Head of Statoil’s Washington DC office and responsible for domestic and international issues for the company.

Before joining Statoil, Mr Teti was an energy and environmental attorney in the Washington DC office of Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP. He also spent five years in various positions on Capitol Hill, including stints for Massachusetts Senator John Kerry, the Congressional Budget Office, and the Clerk of the US House of Representatives.

Mr Teti holds a BA from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania; an MPA from George Washington University; and a law degree from the Catholic University of America.
