Robert Poole
Robert Poole grew up in West Texas and has been a California resident since 1975. He has a BA in Political Science from University of California Santa Barbara and a MS in Environmental Management from the University of Maryland. Bob is currently at Western States Petroleum Association, previously employed as the Public and Government Affairs Manager for Santa Maria Energy, a California onshore Petroleum Energy Exploration and Production Company based in Santa Maria.
Bob has over 20 years in the Office Products Industry and has actively engaged in public policy for over the past 25 years. He was a small business owner from 1990 to 1995, Former President/CEO of both Solvang and Goleta Valley California Chambers of Commerce and Production Regions Manager of the Western States Petroleum Association from 2002 to 2011. Since 2002, Bob has been employed advocating issues on behalf of the Petroleum Industry, at the local, state and federal levels. Bob has three adult children and resides in Nipomo, California with his wife Gina Rae and their dog Sabrina.
