Mark C. Peterson
Mark Peterson is the President/CEO of Bilfinger Westcon. He has led the company since its inception 31 years ago. He remains active in the estimating, planning, scheduling and execution of all projects.
Mark’s leadership has instilled hard working values in his employees. The company motto, “Pride Thru Performance” reflects those values.
In 1985, the company started mechanical projects in multiple oil and gas, and refining facilities. By 1987, Westcon, Inc., started work in coal-fired power plants and built a reputation for managing turnarounds and capital projects for the power industry.
During the late 1980s and into the 1990s Westcon became a strong construction player and opened regional offices. Westcon gained recognition as a general contractor supporting many industrial markets including oil and gas, refining, agricultural/food processing, bulk pharmaceuticals, power, and various manufacturing processes.
In the last decade, Westcon joined the emerging biofuels market and built many green-field facilities.
