Adam joined the South Dakota Oil and Gas Association in 2014. He provides the leadership, develops and executes strategy for the Association, manages memberships and activities, and provides governmental and communications support for the Association. Adam has over 20 years experience in high-level management, business-to-business networking, major events planning, internal and external policy direction, governmental affairs, media relations, and knowledge and experience working with the many levels of local, state and federal governmental agencies. Adam is a native of Spearfish, South Dakota and has lived in the state his entire life. He is a 1995 graduate of the U. S. Marine Corps Communications and Electronics School and a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran. He is a 2014 graduate of Leadership Sturgis.

Robert D. Bob has held senior leadership positions with industry and the federal government and is well known for his ability to design and implement effective solutions to legal challenges impeding permitting, operations and corporate objectives.

Christopher Guith is senior vice president for policy at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Institute for 21st Century Energy (Energy Institute). He is responsible for developing the Institute’s policies and initiatives as they apply to the legislative, executive, and regulatory branches of the federal and state governments. Specifically, Guith leads the development of the Energy Institute’s policies and messaging relating to oil and natural gas and nuclear energy. He led the Chamber’s Shale Works for US campaign, which analyzed and promoted the widespread benefits of shale energy development in America.

Currently, he is the Director of Policy & External Affairs for the Colorado Oil & Gas Association where he is reponsible for government and politcial affairs, media relations, and external outreach.

Everod holds an Executive MBA – University of Colorado MS – Electrical Engineering (Power Systems Emphasis), University of Colorado – Denver BS – Electrical Engineering (Honors) Howard University – Washington DC Registered Professional Engineer in many States. Everod has held top level positions at large engineering, design & construction management companies including VP of Engineering and Project Operations, Manager of Engineering, Project Manager, and Chief Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer. 25+ Years of design and project execution experience in electric utility, power generation and transmission, mining, oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical, water treatment, U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Air Force, etc. Technical expertise include expert level electrical power systems analysis & evaluation of utility transmission and generation systems up to 345kV and 1000MW; large industrial machines (induction, synchronous and cyclo-converters); large transformer/rectifier/inverters; dynamic motor starting, protective coordination, substations up to 500MVA/345kV, lightning protection; optimization of large industrial systems, etc. Significant U.S. and international hands-on consulting, construction and plant start-up experience Skilled at project evaluation, economic assessment and financial analysis.

jim Kahler, Manager, Strategic Planning and Market Analysis, NGL Energy Partners

Jim Kahler is the Manager of Strategic Planning and Market Analysis of NGL Energy Partners (NYSE: NGL), a North American midstream MLP. Formerly an energy consultant, he is experienced in the oil and gas sector, including production forecasting, fundamental supply/demand and pricing analysis, and infrastructure benefits assessment. In his role at NGL, Jim provides an outlook of the North American crude oil, NGL, and water markets to senior management. He performs more granular analysis to assess the opportunities and risks of new development opportunities, working with the Business Development and M&A teams to make capital allocation decisions. Jim studied history, politics, and economics and Brandeis University, graduating with High Honors.

Mark StanleyMark Stanley – President & CEO – Themark Corporation

Mark E. Stanley has worked in the oil industry as a hydraulic fracturing expert for 37 years. He started with Arco right out of college where he studied Chemical Engineering. He went back to college to get his MBA in 1987 and went to work as a partner with Clear Water in 1989. Working at the partner level gave him a more hands-on relationship with the industry and he learned to use his knowledge and background to fine-tune products to meet the specific needs of customers. During this phase of his work he developed patents for several products that are still used in the industry today. To the extent possible he wanted to focus on products that would not harm the environment and that would reduce customer’s need to meet EPA standards in handling them. He believed that ultimately the ability to reduce costs by reducing hazardous waste constrictions would serve the interest of both sides of any argument.

Neel DuncanNeel Duncan – VP Operations – Integrated Petroleum Technologies, Inc.

Neel’s career in the petroleum industry began in the Russian oilfields of Western Siberia in the early 1990s. This is where he spent the bulk of his career, serving in several executive leadership roles for Anderman/Smith Overseas Inc. (Chernogorskoye Joint Venture), Gazprom and TNK-BP. His next stop was Oil Search PNG Limited in Australia and Papua New Guinea where he put his vast experience to work as vice president of operations. Neel joined the IPT team in January of 2014 and now leads the company’s efforts to integrate its service lines from permitting through drilling and completion.

Tony Lamping joined Cruz in 2007 after climbing the ranks with a large heavy civil contractor in Alaska. Tony has been instrumental in the pursuit and management of Cruz’s largest projects including the Chevron White Hills project and the Grayling Airport. Prior to his current role, Tony served as project engineer, project manager, and senior estimator. Growing up in Montana, Tony was on construction projects throughout his childhood. He has a strong passion for understanding heavy construction and the energy industry from the ground up. While attending college, Tony spent his summers interning at various construction companies learning the ropes. Currently, he enjoys the outdoors of Montana with his wife and three children.
